Of all the Firefox add-ons I have installed the one I’ve come to rely on is the official Delicious Bookmarks add-on.
This and many other add-ons have been incompatible with Firefox since the release of Firefox 4 back in March.
One of the work-a-rounds was to disable add-on compatibility checking in Firefox.
According to Google their recent release of Google Public DNS aims to speed-up your browser’s interaction with DNS servers thereby making the Internet appear faster.
Google states that “…Google Public DNS takes some new approaches that we believe offer more valid results, increased security, and, in most cases, better performance.”
How do Google’s claims of better performance stand-up when compared with other offerings?
